For Children Ages 2-5 Once a week for 6-8 Weeks

Speech Therapy Play Groups

Language Development Play Group

Designed for children who receive or are in need of speech therapy services. This play group is taught by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Children will use arts & crafts, music & songs, sensory experiences and fine / gross motor activities to ensure a fun and exciting play time.

“Tea Party” Swallowing Play Group

Designed to help mealtime become a more positive experience for both child and parent. This play group will address difficulties in the areas of swallowing, sensory input and oral muscle strength/tone. Parent involvement is encouraged in order to educate the family on all aspects of feeding including meal time, environment, body positioning and specific feeding techniques.

Occupational Therapy Play Groups

Sensory Integration Play Group

Designed to offer children a safe and secure adventure in sensory stimulation. This play group will introduce a fascinating multi-sensory world full of intriguing diversions and recreational experiences waiting to be explored and absorbed.

Developmental Therapy Play Groups

Social Learning Play Group

Designed for more typically developing children, this play group will be a fun and exciting interactive environment. It will involve activities such as socializing with other kids, learning how to take turns, sharing and communication skills.

Developmental Therapy Play Group

Designed with an emphasis on maximizing children’s developmental potential, their desire to play, socialize and form meaningful relationships with peers. Focus is placed on teaching the peer group to be more accepting, responsive, and inclusive of children who relate and play in different ways.

Physical Therapy Play Groups

Baby Gym Play Group

Designed to introduce developmentally appropriate educational activities to a child’s life. Activities involving fine/gross motor skills and different movement patterns will be used in a fun learning experience for the parent and child.
