MedCare prides itself on employing warm and
caring therapists, teachers, and support staff. All are trained to the
particular needs of your child by licensed and experienced physical,
occupational, speech and developmental therapists. MedCare insures that each
child receives individualized therapy treatment specified for their specific
needs. Types of treatment include:
The physical therapists at MedCare will work with
the child and family to address any problem areas that may interfere with
optimal motor function. The therapists use a wide variety of exercises and
treatments to help children reach their maximum potential, including techniques
the parents can continue to use at home to support ongoing therapy.
MedCare’s occupational therapists help children
improve their ability to perform tasks in their daily living environments. They
help children pursue the “occupations” of learning, playing, and growing, not
only improving their basic motor functions and reasoning abilities, but also to
compensate for permanent loss of function. Occupational therapists help children
to achieve productive and satisfying lives.
MedCare’s speech pathologists are dedicated to
providing quality and innovative speech language therapy services to children
through age 12. We treat children with:
- Speech disorders
